Last week from the 20th to the 22nd of August members of TPB, SELF MF and TAMFI attended a workshop at SBFIC’s training facility in Mwanza, Tanzania. The workshop covered topics in marketing, such as marketing audit concepts, efficient marketing plans and financial service marketing. Furthermore, customer care, which involved the identification of customer needs, the customer supply chain and quality and complaint management was covered. The third area was about communication, their barriers and especially the communication with customers. Additionally, the workshop also touched upon sales techniques, which enables the employees to more effectively sale their products to their customers. This training was conducted by SBFIC’s experienced country director in Tanzania, Mr. Stephen Safe.
The next day, from the 23rd to the 24th a second training workshop took place in Mwanza covering the topic of monitoring and evaluation, especially how to design a M&E system and how to prepare a M&E framework. This time members of TPB and TAMFI attended the two day training. This training was conducted by SBFIC’s capacity development consultant Tunu Kimea.
