The board based business simulation has been created to raise business literacy of small farmers and agricultural entrepreneurs and teach them basic facts and methods to increase the profitability of their farm and make them bankable
The training took place in different district of Rwanda for a period of 2 weeks starting from August 22nd to 31st 2018. The participants were members of 4 cooperatives involved in farming of maize, soya beans, coffee, bananas and vegetables.
During the training participants are grouped in small groups of 4 to 6 people and each team received the simulation board from where they will have to jointly manage their farm as family whiling competing with other family farms.
The training was organized by SBFIC together with RCA (Rwanda Cooperative Agency).
